CloudTV's role
CloudTV is a technical service provider for live-video management, processing, transmission, delivery, billing, analytics, security, and client applications. CloudTV does not operate a customer media library and does not provide persistent video-file hosting.
For SaaS-only customers, live media remains on infrastructure selected and controlled by the customer or its third-party providers and does not pass through CloudTV media infrastructure. When a customer enables CloudTV delivery, relay, transcoding, acceleration, or watermarking, live-stream data may pass through CloudTV-controlled or contracted infrastructure and is processed only as required to provide that selected service.
Customers control their live sources, destinations, audiences, and service instructions. They are responsible for holding the rights and permissions required for each use.
Submitting a copyright notice
If you believe copyright-protected material is being used through a CloudTV-enabled service without authorization, send a written notice containing the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for the owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. A representative list may be used when one notice covers multiple works.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing use and information reasonably sufficient for CloudTV to locate the affected customer, route, or service.
- For a live-stream report, the date, time and time zone, channel or stream identifier, relevant URL or destination, and any screenshots or records that help identify the transmission.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
Copyright contact
Email complete notices to abuse@cloudtv.bz.
Do not send passwords, private signing keys, or unrelated personal data.
Review and response
CloudTV may request additional information when a notice does not identify the affected service. When a valid notice concerns an active CloudTV-enabled media service, CloudTV may notify the customer, restrict the affected route or account, preserve relevant records, or take another action appropriate to the service and applicable law.
Because live transmissions are time-sensitive and may no longer be active when a notice arrives, precise timestamps and service identifiers materially improve the review process. CloudTV may forward the notice and claimant contact information to the affected customer or service provider.
Counter-notices
If access is restricted because of a copyright notice and you believe the action resulted from mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to abuse@cloudtv.bz. It should identify the affected material or service, explain the basis for the mistake, include your contact details and signature, and contain the statements and consent to jurisdiction required by applicable law.
CloudTV may provide the counter-notice to the original claimant and restore access when legally permitted. Submitting a false notice or counter-notice may create legal liability.
Repeat infringement
CloudTV may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly use CloudTV services to infringe copyright, taking account of valid notices, counter-notices, court orders, customer responses, and the circumstances of each case.
General abuse reports that do not concern copyright may be submitted through the CloudTV contact directory. Additional information about United States copyright notices is available from the U.S. Copyright Office.
